On November 13, 2008, Murray Schwartz participated in a conference sponsored by The Human Resources Association of New York (HR/NY). The topic discussed was, "The Irony of Age Discrimination in an Aging Workforce." Other panelists who appeared were Todd Girshon, a Partner at Jackson Lewis, Lois Aronstein, the AARP New York State Director and Susan MacEachron, the Executive Director of ReServe Elder Service. The conference was moderated by Bill Drewes, Esq. HR/NY is an affiliate of The Society for Human Resource Management.

The audience included approximately 50 well-versed members of the human resource community in New York.
