Schwartz Perry & Heller'S SPRING 2009 LEGAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
JANUARY 19, 2009
On January 19, 2009, our Spring 2009 Legal Internship Program commenced. We are privileged to have eight interns participate in the program which continues through May 8, 2009. The participants will be actively involved in the drafting of complaints, performing legal research, responding to discovery, writing for the firm’s employment law blog and taking part in initial client meetings.
The Spring 2009 interns came from five law schools throughout the New York Metropolitan area, including New Jersey (Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Brooklyn Law School, New York Law School, Seton Hall University School of Law and Touro Law Center). Each attorney at Schwartz Perry & Heller LLP takes great pride in mentoring and nurturing these law students throughout the course of their internship. The firm’s Legal Internship Program always provides a rewarding experience for both the interns and our attorneys.
The firm’s Legal Internship Program was initially developed as a Summer program more than 10 years ago under the direction of Mr. Schwartz, at the request of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. The initial programs were so successful that the firm initiated on-going legal internship programs throughout the academic year as well.
