Schwartz Perry & Heller'S SUMMER 2008 LEGAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM WAS AN OVERWHELMING SUCCESS
AUGUST 15, 2008
On May 26, 2008, the first portion of our 2008 Summer Legal Internship Program commenced. We were privileged to have 11 interns participate in the program which continued until July 3, 2008. The participants all advised us that the program was rewarding for them and would certainly play a role in the future decisions they would be making at the end of their final year of law school. Each one of them performed effectively and with distinction.
The second session of our 2008 Summer Legal Internship program commenced on the following business day, July 7, 2008. As we had hoped would be the case, the second session was as rewarding and meaningful as was the first. It continued through August 15, 2008. During the second session, we were privileged to work with 13 interns so that the 2008 Summer Legal Internship Program involved a total of 24 interns.
The Summer 2008 interns came from eight law schools throughout the New York Metropolitan area (Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Brooklyn Law School, Fordham University School of Law, Hofstra University School of Law, New York Law School, Pace Law School, Seton Hall University School of Law and Touro Law Center). It was a remarkable experience to witness not only the hands-on participation of these law students within our firm, but also the warmth with which they established their own bonds of friendship. The Summer Legal Internship Programs provide a rewarding experience for both the interns and the members of our firm.
